Where do I send my application?
The application can be submitted digitally on the Bavarian Jazzweekend website here
How long can I apply?
The application deadline is November 15, 2023.
Who decides on the program selection?
Our five person board of trustees decides on the program and selects the bands from the received applications. The program design and distribution to the venues is defined by the artistic direction in consultation with the organizer.
What fees are paid?
Performing bands receive a flat rate of 150 euros gross per musician and performance as well as access to catering at the venues. Required overnight stays in hotels and the payment of travel allowances are recorded individually when the contract is concluded.
By when will I be informed whether the board of trustees was able to consider my application?
The selection from the received applications will be completed until the middle of April 2024.
By when will I know my exact performance date and venue?
The final program will be completed until April 2024.
What technology is available at the venues?
On each stage, the backline is provided with basic equipment consisting of a bass amp, guitar amp, keyboard instrument and jazz drum kit.
